You must first complete the required 20Hr training for security personnel, and then you must submit an application for your P.E.R.C. Card with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulations. This application must be accompanied with a fingerprint scan receipt and an application fee that must also be submitted. You do not have to be employed to obtain a P.E.R.C. card.
You must first complete the 40Hr Firearms training for security personnel, and then you must have already obtained your P.E.R.C. card and be currently employed by a security or detective agency.
